People may not remember the details, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel. This is the code for winning the hearts and minds of your audience. 

 

Communication is about connection. Striking an impactful attachment that inspires the audience to recall the experience positively is far more effective in achieving your desired result.

 

KEEP YOUR STORY RELATABLE 

Did you know the average human attention span used to be twelve seconds? Now, it’s only eight! Capture attention right away through relatable stories that connect with the audience. Explore why the information is important, how it’s relevant, and what they should do next. Closing your story with a clear call to action is critical for clarifying what people need to do. Reinforce this thoroughly to inspire an effective sense of urgency that motivates them to act right away.

 

MAKE COMMUNICATION TOP PRIORITY 

Investment of time and effort is the only way to achieve effective communication. Think about the goals you’re trying to achieve and map the journey from where you are to where you want to be. And remember–the more you put in, the more you’ll get out.
